Nursery Progress for Baby M....

A little goody for baby M's nursery arrived.

The bottom fabric is the crib sheet, and the top 2 are changing pad covers.  I am in love with the prints.  Fresh and fun!  D'nile Design does beautiful work, you can check out her shop here

Here is the mood board for baby M's nursery in case you missed it before...

I have something special planned for the room in this Serena and Lily melon dot fabric and I'm hoping it is as fabulous in real life as it is in the vision in my head.  Fingers crossed!  It's being sewn as we speak!

The Pink Office Is Closed For Business......

Remember my beloved pink office?

Well, times they are a changing, and it's gone.
This soon to be momma of two found herself needing a playroom of sorts on the main floor of the house, and a transitional nursery so that I don't have to brave the stairs with a newborn baby after a c section.  I was secretly also wanting to add some blue and kinda sick of the pink.

The bookshelves remain the same and I bought a second set of the drapery panels that are hung inside of the french doors to help block the light when I have baby M in the mini crib.

I decided to go with Behr Light French Gray for the paint.  I have touches of blue and gray through out the main floor of our home and it just made sense.  I also found some really sweet mini crib bedding to add to the room too.

Here is a peek into the new space.  It now houses the striped linen sofa, a glider, a changing table and some shelves with a few of K's toys.  She likes to play with her dollhouse in this room (she calls it a 'dog'house which really gets us some funny looks).

This is the not so stylish but OH SO COMFORTABLE glider we bought to put in our room when K was born.  It has been in hiding since then but we brought it back out for baby M.  I mean, who DOESN'T want to crawl up in a big chair of minky dot?  Ha.  It is a glider and also a recliner too.  Perfect for late nights with baby.

While this is not baby M's nursery, I decided to buy a portable mini crib with a real mattress and bedding so that this room will make a great transitional nursery.  I love the fact that it folds up flat and is on wheels!  Braving this staircase after a c section and carrying a newborn didn't feel very appealing.  K's room is on the main floor as well, so we will just keep our new little family of four downstairs with us for awhile, until we decide to move both of the girls upstairs.  I'm not ready for that yet =)

The bunny toile portable crib bedding came from Carousel Designs and they have an amazing collection of crib bedding in general!

Now, I must stock up on diapers!  Eeek!

Valentine's Basket For My K!

Happy Valentine's Day Ya'll!!!

I made a little goody basket for my sweet K to celebrate....

A BIG jellycat bear (the softest stuffed animals EVER), some valentine pjs, lots of sugary goodness, fun jewelry and some days of the week underpants just to make it complete, LOL

How fun is this lovey bear?

I'm going to give it to K after school today and I'm super excited!!  Let's just hope she doesn't want to devour all of the candy at once!

School Valentine Treats

It's almost VALENTINE'S DAY, one of my favorite holidays!!

Yesterday I kept my feet propped up (only a month to go!) and made valentine treat bags for K's Mother's Day Out Valentine Party!

I snuck in valentine ring pops, and little plastic heart containers filled with candies too.  The treat bags are from Michaels and the little note cards are from one of my FAV shops on etsy....Notes by red letter design company.

K's teachers are going to get these little heart canvas bags that I found from Michaels with a gift card and Godiva (gotta have a little chocolate treat on Valentine's Day right?)
The sweet heart ribbon is a Michaels find as well!

I'm off to make K's Valentine treat basket from us....Have a great Wednesday!!!

Kendall's 3rd Birthday Party Invites!

Here were the sweet party invites from
(her invitations are SO fun, I used her invites last year for K's 2nd birthday party)
(this one has fakie info, but you get the idea!)

I had Shannon from Ladybug Charms come to make valentine bracelets with the girls and she was a BIG HIT, and this was the card insert in the invitation from Pedaling Designs....

When I passed out the invites at K's Mother's Day Out program, I attached them to these precious cupcake lip gloss goodies...

I just thought they would be more fun to stick in their school bags with a little goody!

My AWESOME photographer, Amber Beckham, dropped off pics tonight and she did an insane job!  WOW!

Here is a sneak peek of the party decor post (I swear I'll try to get it up tomorrow!)

I'm giddy to share the rest of the pics!
