K's Big Girl Room Progress....bedding arrival

Kendall's bedding arrived yesterday!!
I'm trying to get the finishing touches completed....

Right now I just have a set of Charisma khaki sheets on her bed but do you think I should get some of these or do you think it is too much?  Should I just buy some white sheets?

something plain like this maybe?

HELP!!!!
Need sheeting advice ASAP!!

  1. You can't go wrong with white, but I love the pink diamond bedding too. It would add just a little bit of interest, without too much pattern next to the other patterns.

  2. Love the window pane print! I would go for that one and have white as a backup.

  3. K's room is definitely coming together. It's beautiful! I love all your selections but since you already have a lot of patterns on your pillows and duvet, I would opt for something less busy. A white bedding or the pretty pink scalloped sheet above would work!

Love the bed and artwork, by the way!

    Have a good day!

  4. I am dying over that little monogrammed burlap roll pillow -- so precious! All the sheets are pretty, but I love that lattice set. :)

  6. Adorable! I think the white would work best but having any one of those printed sheets would look cute as well.

  7. I would get whatever you can afford two sets of. She is a little kid after all. Accidents will happen from time to time. :)

  10. Super cute! I'd go with solid sets, maybe white, pale pink, or is that orange as an accent on her lampshade?

  11. LOVE the bedding so far. I think with all the patterns already in the mix, plain white or pink would be perfect!

  12. I keep looking for a source list for the bedding....have I missed that already? Loving the way the room is coming together. Planning on doing something in similar colors for my daughter's big girl room next year. I am a fan of white sheets but also really like the pink diamond ones.

  15. So dang cute. I am loving the scalloped or diamond set. Don't go boring white!!! :) I know you must have said at some point, but which bed did you get her? I was thinking it was Restoration Hardware?? Searching for something similar to that for Elin's room when I finally get brave enough to release her from her crib!!!!!

  16. I vote for the scalloped set! I don't think it will be too much! On another note...I've followed you for awhile, but never leave comments. I love your style. I am from Arkansas, but my husband's aunt owns the store "Sew What" that you are always toting on. I was soo excited the first time I saw you post about it!!

  17. I like the scalloped set as well, or the pink diamond for something a little softer if you think there's too much pattern. I LOVE the carousel photo above the bed--what unique and great inspiration for the room's palate. Nice job--can't wait to see it all come together!

  19. That looks beautiful. The scalloped set works lovely or alight pink or lavendar or purple.

  21. I like the white with the pink scalloped edge, but then I'm biased - we have those sheets (Pottery Barn) with the sweet blue scallop :-) I don't know if you can get a sham in a larger size, but I've found that having the rear pillow in a king size, under the standard pillow makes the bed look more polished. We just added the king to our daughters twin and the pillows all lay much more nicely now.

Also will recommend getting some pillow covers (like a mattress pad only for your pillow) if you haven't gotten them already. She IS going to get sick in that gorgeous bed at some point and it helps to just be able to take the sham and cover off and still have the clean pillow. Recommend the ones at Ikea - quilted and washable - and inexpensive! We have them on our pillows too - they really round out the pillow, love them!

  22. Bedding turned out beautifully! Can never go wrong with white.... but what little girl wouldn't want fabulous pink sheets to crawl into every night? (of course this coming from a mom of 2 boys ;)

  23. Where is the pink that looks like cane from?
I think you have it linked to the wrong site.

    1. I meant to add that my favorite, while unpopular, is the window pane!
