A Nursery And A Prayer!

Call to prayer.
One of my sweet friends from college contacted me about doing a design board for her to purchase for a friend.  Her best friend.  Her best friend that is waiting on a baby.  She and her husband were chosen by the birth mother, but in this particular state, the birth mother has ten days afterwards to change her mind.  My friend's BFF is scared.  Fearful that this baby might not really stay HER baby.  This fear has kept her from decorating a nursery.  She has a white crib and a sweet crib skirt.  The baby is due any day. Will you pray?

This is the nursery I designed for this sweet baby girl.
I will also be praying that this baby is the one!

  13. Beautiful nursery. I will definitely be praying for her. We're actually adopting (from Ethiopia) and we lost the referral of a precious baby boy we'd received in November, so I can understand her nervousness! Praying!

  19. Oh Shelli I sure will pray. Our granddaughter is adopted, and our daughter and her husband waited 2 years to get our Natalie. I can only imagine the worry and fear your sweet friend must have! I can say wholeheartedly that God's timing is perfect and HE has that one baby chosen just for them. We cannot imagine our lives without this little blessing. You can count on us to pray, would be an honor! Keep us posted!! Hugs!! xoxo Glo

  20. Shelli, I can relate to your friend. 10 years ago my husband and I adopted our beautiful daughter, Madison Rose. We fortunately, had a perfect adoption process but do remember the feelings of uncertainty. I will keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers! I love the nursery and am hopeful that THEIR baby will come home!

  24. Although raised Catholic, I'm not a very religious person anymore and I only pray in rare circumstances. This post touched my heart and I will definitely be praying for this family. Will you let us know the outcome?
