Calm and Serene Master Bedrooms

I guess I shouldn't be TOO surprised that these 2 images (sent to me by friends) are incredibly appealing to me as my master bedroom used to look very similar color wise to this serene bedroom.....

(anyone know the source?)

and now is pretty much the color of this calm neutral bedroom (pics coming soon).....

but oh, I could just curl right up into either of them with a cup of hot tea and a really good book.....couldn't you?

PS- sorry for being MIA, the hubs and I were here last week....so heavenly, but now back to reality, right?

  1. Those are both dreamy. I have the same type of ceiling in the first photo. Maybe I should paint the ceiling blue? Hmm. So happy you are back safe and sound. Can't wait to hear EVERYTHING! :)

  2. I could only wish for that fireplace in my bedroom. Fabulous!

  3. Oh yes, I could definitely curl up in either of those rooms! I always love Candace's rooms. She always pulls off such a luxurious yet cozy feeling so well.

  4. LOVING those two rooms. Especially the second. Candice Olsen is a rock star. My poor master bedroom always starts out so pretty and then gets robbed regularly as the best pieces make their way to the rest of the house. Sad but true.

  7. They are gorgeous, but I hate TVs in the bedroom, and the ones there are humonguous.

  9. Love the top bedroom, it's gorgeous (And we have that Oly white cast resign light fixture in our dining room! - http://www.olystudio.com/products/accessories/lighting/pipa_bowl_chandelier.html )

The source is that you requested is: Martha O'Hara Interiors:

FYI, if you're ever looking for a resource for a photo that you have no credit information on, go to Google and search by images...You can literally click and drag an image from a website (our your desktop) into the search box, and it will find all instances of where that image has appeared...And you can usually figure our the original source information that way.

Good luck, and great blog :)

  10. Oh I sure do love it!!! It makes me second guess the black bedroom set I ordered. I do love the lamps and wreath in the second one!!! I would be so afraid I would stain the bedding with red wine :)
