Yesterday I showed you this mantlescape that I loved...
from this month's Traditional Home Magazine
It goes without saying to ignore ugly black television that doesn't have a prayer of getting moved. =(
I need to buy some tea light candles today!
I need to buy some tea light candles today!
It all came from HomeGoods.
I can't wait to show you the rest of my holiday decor. We are preparing for a little holiday party at our home, I am soooo excited! I also need help with our staircase, I'll show you later this week...
I love this, we have the same ugly TV situation and I've had a hard time decorating around it. This is great!
ReplyDeleteGreat mantle! I only found the 2nd tree on the left at Homegoods but I scooped it up anyways cause it was so fun, even if he does have to hang by himself somewhere! We hang our stocking with command hooks and it works great. I love holiday parties, fun times!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, beautiful.. You give me hope! We are about to move our TV to the stone wall on the fireplace and I've been sulking thinking I won't be able to decorate up there but YOU make it look GREAT! Question though...does it bother your neck to look up so high? That does worry me.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome!! Love all the silver! :)
ReplyDeleteYour mantel decor is stunning. I love all the silver bling. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteStunning. I love all of that silver. We had the same issue with stockings so I hung some Command hooks on the underside of the mantel. They've held up really well.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! The silver trees are gorgeous - I'm going to have to be on the lookout for those. We also have our tv above the mantel, but I will say I love it there because we can enjoy a cozy fire and still watch tv, so my husband and I are both happy. I however do struggle with the decorations on the mantle - yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty girl!!! I love all the silver and glass! And what tv? I didn't even notice the tv! ;)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Shelli! What time does the party start? Do you have room for one more?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Now I must know, how do you hide the wires for your tv and where is the cable box etc. My husband and I are contemplating putting our tv above the mantle, but the thought of cords everywhere seriously upsets me. Yours looks so nice! Do share the secret!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Gotta love HG!! I used to make it look as if the stocking holders were holding the stockings, but actually just buried plastic hooks under greenery. That way, I could still display the holders, but not have to worry about children and head injuries. Looking forward to seeing more of your Christmas decor!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I was just at Home Goods last night (in Southern California), and the holiday selection was already picked over! Luckily, I did some of the picking over back before Thanksgiving. I love the silver against the stone facade. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Shelli! Gosh, Homegoods is just the best... but it doesn't hurt when you have the stylish eye to put it all together. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteHomeGoods is like crack, isn't it? I set up my mantlescape last night, mostly with items I procured there. Yours came out beautifully :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm your "neighbor" at the linky party, and we have the SAME stockings! I love them!! I love your mantle too!
ReplyDeleteWhat should I wear to the party? Ok, I love it!!! And I really love the large satin bows on the stockings. We have similar ones and I think I will do that. Thanks for linking up my dear!
