Baby Shower Goodies And A Sick Toddler....

Well, this weekend started with a trip to the pediatrician with a sick little feverish toddler...

who also fell off the ottoman the day before and therefore was rockin' a nasty bruise on her head too....boo.

Daddy was in North Carolina for a funeral and I stayed behind to take care of sicky baby k...but thankfully Mimi and Pop pop came to the rescue this weekend!  Thank you mom and dad!

So....I was able to bust out
the monogramming machine to make these...
bloomers, boppy cover and burpie

for my sweet friend Kate that I have known for 16 years!
(aaaaand now I feel REALLY old after writing that)
I put this together to bring to her baby shower on Sunday.

I decided to give her a bucket of some of my baby favorites (baby legs, soothie pacis, Karen Katz books, bloomers etc) and necessities (aka breastfeeding stuff)

Don't you just love baby showers?  I oohed and aaahed over all the tiny tiny little outfits she received and had visions of when little baby k was small enough to fit into all of those little newbornie things.

sweet scrunchie little newborn baby k at 9 days old.  (the lamb is a FINGER puppet, she was so tiny back then!)
Time sure has flown.

How was your weekend?

  16. I'm the lucky recipient of the thoughtful gift basket. Not only is Shelli a fab decorator, but an amazing friend. Our baby girl is so lucky to have "Auntie Shel".
