August Fields Home Tour

shelli, thank you so much for having me over on your blog for a home tour!  we had our home built and moved in a little over a year ago in may of 2010.

Here are a few areas of our home but come on over for a visit to august fields anytime to peruse more.

the fact that we have five children and homeschool plays into my home decor style for sure!
casual, layered, and functional.

the coffee table is a recent thrift store find.
i left the gold rim alone on the glass top and spray painted the legs grey.

instead of each child having their own bedroom we opted to do bunk rooms.
here is a little peek at the girl's bunk room.

and here is a little peek at our boy's bunk room

here is where we spend a lot of time for school, reading and crafts! this room is in the midst of undergoing some fun decor changes that we're looking forward to. :)

i love to layer a fancy element in where i can.
so i paired this fancy chandy with our wood farm table.  the chairs are from ikea.

another little stop is the master bath.
this bathtub is my relaxation station for sure. no jets. just peace and quiet.

and here is a little nook in our bonus room that i turned into a sewing/craft area.  our girls both have a sewing machine and winter days are often filled up here.

thank you so much for inviting me over today shelli!
