Yeah, I'm talkin' Paint Colors Again...

Here we go again folks...love me anyway, k?
The all over color that looks like primer is actually Benjamin Moore's Classic Gray.  Nope, not gonna work in my living room (but sure looked amazing in this one)
PS- Do you like my new fossil 'ish' thing for m mantle?  It's heavy as all get out, but I love that darn thing.  P.D's of course.
That blue swatch is Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray, man I love that color. The very bottom color is Sherwin Williams Diverse Beige and is too much like my existing color.
Although you can't really see where one begins and where one ends, the line up starting at the top is:
1. Valspar Woodrow Wilson Putty (too light)
2. Sherwin Williams China Doll (LOVE but too light in this room)
3. Benjamin Moore Baby Fawn (LOVE)
4. Sherwin Williams Realist Beige (too dark)
5. Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray (LOVE)
I think after seeing them all in different times and light of the day....I am going to go with
as seen in Emily Ruddo's amazing home
At first glance I thought it would be the same color as the Sherwin Williams China Doll (which I have here and here) but it actually has more gray undertones and less beige and I really like it.  We'll see, right?  The painters are supposed to start next Tuesday!  Fingers crossed I chose the right one!

  1. Can't wait to see it! I have always found painting large swatches on the wall in the actual room is always best. You get true sense of what the color looks like in all lights, and with your decor.

  7. So glad you're talkin' about this today! Love your choice, and can't wait to see how it turns out. I currently have patches of BM's Grant Beige, Wedgewood Gray, and China White on my living room walls... trying to make a decision on which to go with. Might have to check out Baby Fawn and China Doll, too. Just to make things more difficult :)
