Tuesday's Turndown- A Lived In Home

Hi everyone! I'm Megan from A Lived in Home and I am so honored that the fabulous and witty Shelli asked me to be a part of her Tuesday's Turndown. Shelli has great style and I enjoy being surprised daily when I read a' la mode with my morning coffee.

Now on to our master bedroom that has been a work in progress since we moved into our home in September. Our main goal was that the space feels like a retreat for us. We wanted a place where we can lie down at night on plush linens and curl up with a good book to relax. The colors had to be calm and inviting which we feel like we've accomplished with the Silver Sage paint. I also wanted to incorporate a few touches of yellow into the space, so the pillow on the bed adds a bit of cheerfulness to our overall soothing palette.

I still have several additions to make because a room is never really finished. I'm envisioning curtains, a bench (or x benches) at the end of the bed, and possibly adding a white lacquer desk with a lucite chair and pouf in front of the windows. At least that is my vision today. We will see what next week brings!
